Welcome to the Robotics Laboratory in the Department of Engineering Design at IIT Madras. This research laboratory was established in the year 2009. A small group of faculty and students work here to advance the level of research in robotics and related areas.

Additionally, we are a regular participant in other engineering competitions such as IIT's Pumpkin Launch. The Center for Robotics at IIT Kanpur was established in 1989 through a grant from MHRD. It is an interdisciplinary centre, with associated faculty members from Aeronautical, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Departments.
